This segment of Brooklyn’s Lifestyle is very close to my heart because of how I truly feel about food and the relationship I have with it. Food brings me such great pleasure not because it’s nourishing to my body but because it sharpens my mind and it’s good for my soul.
I know that there are people starving all over the world and right here in our own back yards (in the USA). I often wish I could Provide a meal for everyone who needs one but I know that’s wishful thinking so instead, I try to give to as many charities as I can and help out whenever there’s a need.
I’m a firm believer in the value of eating well. For me, food brings me joy and I don’t deny myself. Yes, I make every effort to indulge in moderation as we should with everything in life but I do fall short as we all do sometimes. I choose to not stop myself from enjoying great food. Oprah said in her book “What I Know For Sure”
So I’ve learned to eat a piece of chocolate-maximum, two-and dare myself to stop and relish it, knowing full well, like Scarlett O’Hara, that “tomorrow is another day” and there’s always more from trying to keep three at a time from destroying all my worldly goods.
Go ahead, dare to stop and relish in great food because eating well is great for your mind, body, and soul.
In this category I will share my experiences with Food: the places I love, enjoyed, tried just for fun and I will review many of those places.
You can expect me to share my honest experiences: the good, bad and indifference because although I may not have such a wonderful experience – yours could be completely different.
I know from experience that a restaurant could have an off day or an off week, and for that reason, I do try restaurants several times, on different days, during different times. I’m always open to trying new foods and new places in Brooklyn, therefore, I welcome you on this adventure with me. Feel free to share tips and suggestions – it will certainly make my day :)! I hope you enjoy food as much as I do…
Eating is not merely a material pleasure. Eating well give you a spectacular joy to life and contributes immensely to goodwill and happy companionship. It is of great importance to the morale
George Bernard Shaw
There is no sincerer Love than the Love of food.
