Ho Ho Lounge

The holidays are here and I’m over the moon with excitement (is that even a thing). The snow yesterday made it feel very holidayish and I enjoyed every bit of it.

As I watched the beautiful snow fall I was thinking about my theme for the holidays. I’m late with all of this, usually by October I know my theme. And I’m thinking a live tree would be nice to have this year.

I love real trees, they aren’t as flexible as faux ones but I do love them. The smell, the feel and the fact that I don’t have to find storage after the holidays is wonderful.

Holiday events have always excited me – I look forward to them. They seem to somehow make the holidays that much more special.

The Springs in Greenpoint is back on my radar with their upcoming holiday event. You can read about them here and here

They are once again transforming their space, and this time it into The Ho Ho Holiday Lounge. From December 5th to January 1st, we can all experience this Holiday pop up lounge.

Picture the perfect holiday setting: colorful decorations, cozy fireplace, festive and delectable cocktails. And let not forget about Fornino Pizza. (Read about The Springs calibration with Fornino and more about Fornino here)

Greg’s Trees will also be onsite – he will occupy the backyard and have all of your holiday tree essentials. Greg’s Trees owner Greg Walsh will also bring his complete line of holiday goodies, including the largest variety of Christmas trees in NYC with Fraser Fir, Noble Fir, Nordmann Fir, Balsam Fir and the exquisite Silver Fir.

The outdoor area will be transformed into MAGICAL Santa Land, outfitted with Santa’s sledge for a bit of magic and the perfect Instagram moment (we can’t forget to share).

And Santa will be making an appearance at the lounge on December 5th from 5 to 8 PM.

I hope to see you there – it’s the perfect time for me to get my tree and I’m excited.
